Ackerman Pierce are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager within South Wales. The vacancy will be for an initial 2-4 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstances and your performance.
Remote working role with occasional visits to the office if possible.
Overview of Role
1. As a Transformation Commercial Manager, you will be providing direct commercial support to ensure the successful delivery of the One IPO Transformation Programme. The programme is predominantly being delivered by an external Strategic Delivery Partner and is nearing completion of Phase 1. Commercial terms for Phase 2 are currently being revised and need to be finalized in the coming weeks.
2. You will work alongside commercial colleagues and engage collaboratively with other internal IPO staff and external stakeholders/suppliers to ensure successful delivery of:
1. satisfactory outcomes against the terms of the Phase 1 contract, which may involve responding quickly and effectively to manage and resolve any issues associated with delays and/or challenges around contractual terms.
2. a robust Phase 2 contract, ensuring terms are understood, agreed, and accurately reflected in the draft Phase 2 contract prior to signing.

The role supports the business in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning, and service. The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery.
