Position: eCommerce Customer Development Manager
Location: Gatwick - (Hybrid working - min 2 days a week in the Gatwick office)
Salary: up to £42k + potential bonus + generous pension + 25 days annual leave + 12 additional flex days off on top of annual leave and two paid volunteering days!

Position Summary
Nestlé Professional (NP) is the Business-to-Business food service arm of Nestlé, specialising in Out of Home food and beverage solutions. The unrivalled portfolio of NP includes food brands such as GARDEN GOURMET and renowned Coffee brands including ‘We Proudly Serve’ STARBUCKS, NESCAFÉ, and SEATTLES BEST COFFEE.
We are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join our Sales Team as an eCommerce Customer Development Manager to drive sustainable and profitable organic growth in eCommerce for Nestlé Professional, through supporting on the Amazon account, managing and growing secondary Pure Players, and driving Digital Shelf optimisation across the division.
A day in the life of an eCommerce Customer Development Manager …
Key responsibilities will include:
* Support Amazon Account Lead to maximise Nestlé Professional's commercial performance through Amazon and Amazon Business
* Identify actionable areas of growth through data analysis and customer insight
* Drive visibility, online presence and conversion through optimised content and Amazon Advertising activity (sponsored search, DSP)
* Monthly Business Process support including sales analysis, forecasting, stock and trade spend management
* Management and accountability of Customer Investment Plans and Joint Business Plans for secondary Pure Players
* Execute category strategy, portfolio and marketing plans with customers to drive profitable growth
* Build and manage a Customer Contact Strategy, building relationships across all functions at varying levels
* Lead the launch and adoption of a new digital shelf tracking tool across Nestlé Professional UK&I
* Influence and support cross-functional teams to embed digital shelf optimisation across the business.
* Improve image accuracy, written content optimisation and organic search presence across key customers to ultimately drive online sales and market share.
* Share insights and expertise to the wider business on how eCommerce is evolving, and upskill key stakeholders accordingly
* Proactively discover and drive emerging opportunities to win new business within the eCommerce space.
What will make you successful?
To be successful, you’ll be working in a commercial, customer facing role within the FMCG industry, with proven experience of Business Development (Sales, Category Management, Digital Marketing).
You will also have the following skills and experience:
* Previous Digital Shelf and Digital Marketing knowledge and understanding (content, traffic, conversion, SEO, organic/paid search)
* Ability to discover and drive opportunity from complex datasets and analysis
* Strong sales, negotiation and relationship building experience
* Highly curious about eCommerce/eBusiness and desire to further your knowledge and understanding
* Highly driven, with a tenacity to deliver results under pressure
