The Opportunity
Radar Healthcare's new Infrastructure Team Lead
We’re seeking an experienced Infrastructure Team Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure systems. In this role, you’ll lead a team of engineers, collaborate with the software development team, and ensure optimal product performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing servers, applications, and SQL Server, while driving strategic planning and high-level decision-making.

What you’ll be doing to make a difference:
* Lead and manage the team responsible for Microsoft Technologies, including Windows Server, SQL server, and Azure
* Oversee the design and administration of existing infrastructure related to the company's global infrastructure
* Ensure regular performance testing and tuning are carried out to optimize all production systems, and verify consistent backups according to company policies
* Collaborate with the CTO in developing technology roadmaps from a server & database perspective
* Lead and coordinate efforts with the 3rd Line team
* Manage relationships with third-party providers and maintain effective partnerships
* Develop and implement infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals
* Mentor and develop team members' technical and leadership skills
* Create and maintain infrastructure documentation and best practices
* Monitor and report on infrastructure performance, security, and compliance
Your journey so far...
* Windows Server 2019/2022 Administration & Monitoring:
* Expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing Windows Server environments.
* Proficient in performance tuning, system updates, patch management, and issue resolution.
* Experienced in managing Group Policy, DFS, and other Windows Server services.
* Skilled in monitoring and optimizing server health and resource usage to ensure high availability and performance.
* SQL Server 2017/2019/2022 Administration & Monitoring:
* In-depth knowledge of SQL Server installation, configuration, and database administration.
* Expertise in database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and query optimization.
* Proficient in implementing backups, high availability (Always On), and disaster recovery strategies.
* Skilled in monitoring SQL Server instances using tools such as SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and third-party monitoring tools.
* Microsoft Azure Administration:
* Advanced knowledge of Azure infrastructure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and resource management.
* Proficiency in managing Azure AD, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity solutions.
* Experience with Azure-specific tools, such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for performance and health monitoring.
* Skilled in automation and orchestration using tools like Azure Automation, PowerShell, and ARM templates.
* Active Directory Administration:
* Expertise in managing Active Directory environments, including multi-domain architectures and trust relationships.
* Proficient in configuring and maintaining DNS, DHCP, and group policies within Active Directory.
* Experienced in performing migrations, upgrades, and recovery tasks in AD environments.
* Knowledgeable about hybrid AD setups and integration with Azure AD.
* Linux Administration:
* Proficient in managing Linux servers, including distributions such as CentOS, Ubuntu, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
* Skilled in shell scripting and automation to streamline server management tasks.
* Experience with system security, package management, and performance tuning in Linux environments.
* Familiarity with containerization platforms (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) within Linux environments.
* SiSense (Linux) Infrastructure:
* Advanced experience managing SiSense analytics infrastructure on Linux environments, including deployment, configuration, and ongoing support.
* Proficient in troubleshooting and optimizing SiSense server performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
* Skilled in managing SiSense system updates, patches, and upgrades in Linux environments.
* Experience in integrating SiSense with SQL Server, Azure, and other enterprise data sources.
* Familiarity with SiSense plugins, customizations, and API usage to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
* Proven ability to manage SiSense backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans in compliance with organizational standards
* Outstanding Azure knowledge and skills, including expertise in infrastructure services, Active Directory, PaaS offerings, DevOps, governance, monitoring, disaster recovery, automation, hybrid integration, and cost management.
* Advanced understanding of GDPR & Latest Security Guidelines
* Strong leadership and team management abilities
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Strategic thinking and long-term planning capabilities
* Outstanding communication skills, both technical and non-technical
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
* Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation
* Strong vendor management skills
* Expertise in risk assessment and mitigation strategies
* Ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
* Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Administrator
