This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven individual to join a fast-paced, founder-led fashion business with ambitious growth plans.
As Ecommerce & Digital Manager, you will report directly to the Founder and collaborate closely with the marketing team. You will also manage one direct report, providing mentorship and leadership to help them thrive.
This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing our digital and ecommerce strategy to meet revenue and profit targets while ensuring the story, brand values, and commitment to sustainability are highlighted throughout the customer journey.
The position requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution. You will be responsible for managing the Shopify Plus website and collaborating with stakeholders to drive growth. Expertise in digital performance marketing (Google Ads and Meta), SEO, affiliate marketing, and website development is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Collaboration
1. Report directly to the Founder, providing strategic updates and actionable insights to guide decision-making and foster the brand's growth.
2. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align campaigns, digital content, and customer acquisition strategies with the performance targets and brand narrative.
3. Act as the main point of contact for external agencies, managing day-to-day communications and ensuring alignment with the brand values and goals.
4. Manage one direct report, offering guidance, support, and development opportunities to help them thrive.
5. Support other areas or departments when needed, such as events, holiday or sickness cover, demonstrating a collaborative approach to teamwork in a small business setting.
Website Management
1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the Shopify Plus website, ensuring optimal functionality and a seamless, brand-aligned user experience (UX).
2. Manage the upload of product SKUs, creating engaging product pages, optimizing descriptions, and overseeing imagery to reflect the storytelling and values.
3. Monitor and resolve website bugs, leveraging basic HTML skills when necessary.
4. Lead website development projects in collaboration with external developers, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
5. Maintain a customer-focused UX that highlights Aspiga's commitment to sustainability and ethics, optimizing for conversion rate improvement and reducing cart abandonment rates.
Digital Performance Marketing
1. Plan, execute, and optimize digital performance marketing campaigns on Google Ads and Meta platforms to drive traffic growth, revenue, and customer acquisition.
2. Collaborate with agencies to refine paid media strategies, monitor campaign performance, and identify opportunities to improve ROI.
3. Leverage SEO best practices to enhance organic search rankings and boost website traffic while reinforcing the ethical and sustainable messaging.
4. Manage affiliate marketing programs, working with partners to amplify the brand story and grow sales.
Digital Strategy & Campaigns
1. Own and execute the marketing calendar, integrating the story and sustainability values into promotions, product launches, and brand activations to drive revenue growth and website traffic.
2. Develop and refine acquisition and retention strategies to reduce customer acquisition costs (CAC) and enhance customer lifetime value (CLV), ensuring alignment with the company ethos.
3. Use platforms like Klaviyo and Sweet Analytics to run targeted CRM and email campaigns, incorporating the values to encourage repeat purchase rates.
4. Drive loyalty and retention through the Loyalty Program and segmentation strategies, focusing on meaningful engagement aligned with the brand story.
Trading & Analytics
1. Track and analyze ecommerce KPIs, including revenue, conversion rate, AOV, traffic, and repeat purchase rates, using Google Analytics and Sweet Analytics.
2. Regularly report performance to the Founder and senior team, identifying key risks and opportunities for growth.
3. Collaborate with the merchandising team to align stock availability with campaigns, ensuring that the product assortment reflects sustainable values and meets customer needs.
KEY ATTRIBUTES
1. Demonstrable success in ecommerce trading and digital marketing within an SME retailer, ideally in the fashion industry.
2. Experience working in founder-led businesses, with a strong ability to align with the founder's vision and adapt to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
3. Expertise in digital performance marketing (Google Ads, Meta), SEO, affiliate marketing, and website development.
4. Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, and Sweet Analytics.
