This role will be responsible for leading the HSE, wellbeing and safeguarding strategy across the division. The role will work closely with Directors, Managers, staff, and internal and external clients to raise awareness of HSE and ensure that risks are fully managed in a proactive way and in line with compliance.
Key Skills
1. Head of HSE and Safeguarding reporting into the Performance and Transformation Director. Acting as executive advisor and cultural leader on all HSE matters to and on behalf of the divisional senior leadership team.
2. Responsible for the implementation of HSE Strategy, including safeguarding and wellbeing.
3. Own and design strategy, policy, procedures and governance related to HSE across all UK operations in all 3 divisions, including systems.
4. Development, implementation and maintenance of the Wellbeing roadmap.
5. Leadership and Management of Business unit HSE Managers and specialists across the portfolio, ensuring delivery of the HSE and business objectives, including capability and skills development (right people, right skills, right place, right time).
6. Management of Head of Clinical Governance and Safeguarding.
7. Working closely with HSE leads in Experience Division and Technology Software Solutions (TSS) as well as leads in occupational health, clinical governance and safeguarding to ensure the wellbeing, health and safety of the full division and our service users.
8. Responsible for the creation, communication and implementation of CPS HSE strategies in accordance with legal requirements, ethical guidelines and corporate policies.
9. Responsible for ensuring that all HSE related corporate legal and statutory compliance requirements are met.
