As General Management Trainee, you will be immersed in the day-to-day operations of the business, learning about manufacturing, logistics, sales, marketing, finance, and more. Key Responsibilities Assist the Managing Director in overseeing all areas of the business, learning through direct mentorship. Support operational functions including production scheduling, procurement, and quality control. Coordinate deliveries and logistics, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. Contribute to sales and marketing efforts, including customer outreach and promotional strategies. Assist with financial management, including cost control and budgeting. Negotiate with suppliers and business partners to secure favourable terms. Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and economically. Apply creative, lateral thinking to solve problems and improve processes. Take a hands-on approach, contributing to practical tasks when required. Key Requirements A full, valid UK driving licence. Based in or near Southampton. A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively. Entrepreneurial mindset with a keen interest in business growth and strategy. Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities. Practical skills (e.g., experience working on cars or in a hands-on technical role is desirable). Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
