Accounting Manager
A valued client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Plymouth. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and leading a dedicated team to support the seamless operations.
Day-to-day of the role:
1. Manage General Ledgers and ensure tax compliance for UK and Ireland entities.
2. Oversee the Accounting Team to maintain accurate financial records and reporting, utilising your leadership skills to enhance team performance.
3. Collaborate with Group finance teams in the UK and further afield to align with Group financial standards.
4. Drive improvements in financial processes to support the organisation’s growth and operational success.
5. Engage in strategic planning and budget management to contribute to the company’s financial health.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
2. Proven experience in overseeing General Ledgers and ensuring tax compliance, preferably within the UK and Ireland.
3. Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent skills in managing, developing, and inspiring a team.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with international teams.
5. Relevant financial qualifications and a solid understanding of financial regulations.
