We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
Skill Requirements:
1. MSP experience or a customer-centric environment providing support.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Active Directory and GPO administration.
4. Exchange & Intune administration.
5. Excellent experience with Microsoft technologies.
6. Good general knowledge of networking and technologies: TCP/IP stack, concept of VLANs and firewalls, wireless configurations.
7. 2 years+ of 1st line technical helpdesk environment.
8. 2 years+ of a 2nd line technical support environment.
9. Firewall Implementations - Fortigate/Cisco/Sonicwall/Watchguard.
10. Backup Solutions - Azure/Veeam.
11. Virtualisation - Hyper-V, VMware, AVD, RDS.
12. In-depth Knowledge of O365 suite & MFA.
13. Able to answer general Networking questions.
