As Project Manager, you will be delivering medium scale independent projects and/or workstreams within a programme of work aligned within an organisational domain.
You will lead the delivery of individual projects from initiation through to service transition, matrix managing all project resources and managing relationships/deliverables with third-party providers and internal stakeholders.
Your responsibilities include:
* Successful delivery of IT/Business projects including estimates, plans, resource management, schedule, scope, requirements, solutions, budget, and deliverables.
* Motivate and lead team members, driving team engagement through guidance, technical support, and coaching.
* Quality assurance of project deliverables.
* Supporting the Senior Project Manager in resource allocations.
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all key stakeholders across business and IT.
* Maintaining and communicating interdependencies within and across the programme, and contributing to the portfolio's cross-dependencies.
* Full budget accountability for projects.
* Resource management and supporting resource allocations across teams.
* Tracking risks and issues, escalating as needed.
* Monitoring project progress and managing scope changes.
* Tracking financial performance, including budget, labour hours, and costs.
* Communicating scope changes and obtaining additional funding when necessary.
* Providing project status updates to all stakeholders.
* Collaborating with business owners, product owners, and solution leaders to define project completion criteria.
Skills and experience needed:
* PMP, Prince 2, or equivalent certification.
* Agile qualification or experience.
* Experience managing IT projects of medium and large scale.
* Experience with procurement and managing third-party suppliers.
* Experience working in a matrix environment with multiple functions.
* Outcome-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects.
