A professional and industry leading fit out contractor who specialise in the fit out and refurbishment of office buildings and commercial premises within central London and the Home Counties are on the market seeking a Project Manager for their Small Works Division.\n\nWith an array of projects based in Central London and the Home Counties, they are looking for experienced Project Managers who will be responsible for the daily management of our commercial fit-out projects ranging from £50K to £1M.\n\nTaking overall responsibility for the client journey from start to finish, you will have a track record of successful projects. You will enjoy variety, from managing a multi-disciplined team and subcontractors to overseeing the project programme, design, quality management and health and safety aspects of the project lifecycle.\n\nA natural people person and relationship builder, you will have strong communication skills and the ability to navigate the complexities of the project management process with precision and integrity.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n\nExperience at Project Manager level\nMain Contractor experience\nCommercial fit out experience\nTrade, technical or degree background desirable\nIn-depth knowledge of the construction process \n\nProject Manager (Fit Out) Job Description\n\nA good team player and leader\nA good track record of delivering fit out projects\nAct as an on-site client representative/liaison\nExperience managing a multi-disciplined site team\nA trade background (desirable but not essential)\nExperience dealing with day-to-day operational issues\nManaging contractors on site and ensuring they meet deadlines and expectations\nCost control\nProgramme and progress reporting\nAttending and leading client and professional team meetings\nConducting regular site reviews: undertaking safety audits, daily activity audits, progress reviews, snagging of installed works and managing coordination\nThe ability to plan and programme projects with knowledge of planning software\nHealth & Safety management; overviewing and compiling risk assessments and method statements as necessary for all site tasks\nControl of noise and control of substances hazardous to health\nUnderstanding of risks, conducting assessments and management\nNeighbourhood relationship management - knowledge of CCS desirable but not essential\nInspections of contractor works etc that may necessitate working at heights, climbing/traversing scaffolds\nCollation and preparation of closeout schedules including O&M manuals\nGood presentation skills with involvement in the work winning process - bids and interviews\nA motivated self-starter \n\nBenefits:\n\nTravel and salary allowance\nCompany insurance schemes including Private Medical (inc Private GP Scheme)\nEmployee Assistance Programme\nCompany Pension Scheme\nDiscounts for gym, shopping, cinema etc\nAnnual mini-health checks \n\nEden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer
