Job Title: Electrical Project Manager\n\nLocation: Oxford\n\nSalary: £75,000 - £80,000\n\nBenefits: 7.5k car allowance, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, private healthcare, company pension\n\nA market leading Tier One M&E Contractor are looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their management team working on a £40m M&E, shell & core life science project in Oxford.\n\nAs one of the M&E management team you will be responsible to manage the project from pre-construction to completion ensuring the high-profile project is completed to schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards undertaking effective planning.\n\nAs the Electrical Project Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:\n\n * Manage materials, labour, sub-contractors, installation, procurement and drawing programmes to accord with installation and specification requirements.\n\n * Liaison with clients, supply chain, delivery teams and management.\n\n * Oversee working practices, ensuring compliance with HSE policies with support from H&S Manager.\n\n * Financial management of project, including managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.\n\n * Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues that arise.\n\n * Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring solutions are implemented effectively.\n\n * Maintain close working relationships with clients, stakeholders, sub-contractors and internal teams to manage progress, challenges, and resolutions.\n\nSuccessful applicants will have the following experience:\n\n * Proven track record of successfully managing complex electrical projects with values £10M+ ideally in the R&D, life science, laboratory and healthcare sector.\n\n * Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems, construction practices and industry standards.\n\n * Effective planning and project management skills, including planning, scheduling and resource allocation.\n\n * Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control and financial analysis.\n\n * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to achieve project goals.\n\n * The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.\n\n * Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.\n\n * Electrical related qualifications and SMSTS card.\n\nPlease contact Adam Brown on (phone number removed) / (phone number removed) for more information about this role or if you are interested in a new electrical manager opportunity within the Building Services sector (Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contract Manager, M&E Project Manager, MEP Project Manager)
