Meeting and Events Sales Manager
Our client is seeking a Meeting and Events Sales Manager with excellent local knowledge of the MICE and Reservation customers in the market. The role is demanding and requires a resilient person to embrace the working patterns and demands of the position.
Reporting to the General Manager on property, this role requires an experienced Leader who can navigate several management levels.
The Role:
* The M&E Sales Manager will lead and develop the event sales team at the hotel.
* Oversee the day-to-day business and ensure all processes and brand standards are adhered to.
* Encourage the team to drive enquiry conversion and recognize opportunities to upsell to clients.
* Be hands-on in managing event sales with clients when required.
* Develop relationships with key clients and agents to ensure repeat business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a small team of Events Executives.
* Drive conversion and plan events with clients from initial enquiry to event day.
Requirements:
* Excellent local knowledge of the MICE and Reservation customers.
* Experience in managing a team and leading multiple management levels.
Offer:
* Salary up to 35,000 per annum.
* 20% bonus.
