💰 Rate: £12.21 per hour
🕒 Hours: Monday to Thursday (7:15 AM - 4:15 PM), Friday (7:15 AM - 12:30 PM)
⏳ Duration: Temporary (3 weeks) - Overtime may be required
Job Description:
We are seeking a Machine Operative for a temporary 3-week role to assist one of our clients in their busy warehouse. The primary responsibilities will include:
Operating semi-automatic bandsaws to cut steel from stock, following works orders.
Managing stock control to minimise waste and ensure efficient operations.
Organising off cuts systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
Packing and dispatching orders as per dispatch notes, ensuring accuracy before shipment.
Adhering to company Health & Safety policies and safe working practices at all times.
Supporting the warehouse team and assisting with general duties as required by the Warehouse Manager.
Requirements:
✔️ Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
✔️ Ability to operate bandsaws and handle steel safely.
✔️ Strong attention to detail, particularly with stock control and order accuracy.
✔️ Commitment to following Health & Safety regulations.
✔️ Flexibility to work overtime when required.
