The main purpose of the Test Engineer will be to carry out mechanical and performance testing on all HCO products, Bare Shaft Screw Compressors, Turbo compressors, Screw Compressor Packages and associated equipment.

What will you do...
* Maintain appropriate technical standards by completing
* Mechanical and performance testing on HCO products.
* Ensure acceptance criteria are met by calculating and analysing test results.
* Ensure all testing complies with relevant technical specification and all HCO documentation is followed.
* Maintain audit and machining history requirement by completing appropriate Test and Shop Floor Documents.
* Comply with Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 by working to the highest quality standards by checking and calibrating all instruments to relevant values.
* Maintain a safe working environment by complying with Company Environmental Health & Safety Procedures.
* Maintain efficient and safe running of machinery by fulfilling planned/unplanned tasks.
* Support other business departments by setting up and running relevant tests to meet requirements.
* Support HBE principles by optimising efficiencies through reduction of costs and improvement of quality and delivery.
* Ensure adherence to company environmental, health and safety standards in compliance with company policies to ensure a safe working environment and the minimisation of environmental impact.
What do you bring...
An ideal candidate would likely have the following profile;
* HNC in Engineering
* Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
* Ability to work as a team and on own initiative
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Rotating equipment background
* Knowledge of ISO, API and associated specifications
* Managing people experience
* Awareness of continuous improvement methods
