Job Role: Service Controller
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shifts
Salary: £30,000
My client, a large Plant company operating nationwide, is looking for a dedicated Service Controller to join their team.
The Role of Service Controller Includes:
Handling Enquiries: Responding to hire and service enquiries via telephone, email, and our online ordering system.
Breakdown Management: Managing calls from customers and arranging for engineers to attend breakdowns promptly.
Job Card Management: Updating job cards on the internal database and allocating jobs efficiently.
Machine Availability: Checking the availability of machines and ensuring their status is always up-to-date in our systems.
Coordination: Collaborating with the engineering and transport teams to ensure the correct machines are ready and delivered to customer sites.
Customer Service: Communicating effectively with colleagues and providing a helpful and friendly point of contact for depot enquiries.Ideal Candidate for Service Controller :
Industry Experience: Previous experience in the Plant, Powered Access, Tool, or Material Handling industries.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Additional Requirements:
Organisational Skills: Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve service issues efficiently.
