Our client, an industry leader in Fluid Management Technology for Automotive EV technology is seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team based in Chippenham.
As our client continues to innovate and push boundaries within this exciting sector, they are looking for individuals with drive, passion, and expertise to work directly with Automotive OEM's, developing and integrating fluid management products into EV Platforms.
Qualifications & Skills for Project Design Engineer Role:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in mechanical engineering
2. FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) experience
3. Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Responsibilities of Project Design Engineer:
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for managing projects from initial design stages through final production ensuring that all elements adhere to strict quality standards. This will include responsibilities such as;
4. Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets etc.
5. Conduct risk analysis using FMEA methodology
6. Work closely with other teams such as testing & manufacturing departments during product development phases
Salary Expectations:
For the successful Project Design Engineer, a salary up to £55,000 & package reflective of experience is on offer and this Project Design Engineer role is commutable from Bath, Corsham, Bristol, Lyneham, Royal Wootton Bassett, Trowbridge, Castle Combe, Malmesbury, Tetbury, Keynsham, Swindon, Cirencester, Stroud and Devizes.
Some UK & International Travel is required to Customer & Manufacturing Sites for this Project Design Engineer role and my client does offer hybrid working after successful completion of the probation period.
