The Team
The Savings & Retirement Insurance Pricing team is responsible for producing the best estimate insurance assumptions for clients in our global markets. The team responsibilities are across Pension Risk transfer, Individual Retirement, and Savings for Retirement products.
We are looking to hire a number of Pricing and Senior Pricing Analysts for our Insurance pricing team. You will be supporting the S&R Line of Business through tender activity and ongoing technical/pricing support. The successful candidate will be based in our London office, Tower Bridge House, St Katharine's Way.
The Role
As a proactive and technical Pricing/Senior Pricing Analyst, you will be working on a team to deliver Savings and Retirement quotes for clients. Your expertise in pricing and experience analysis will support you as you work alongside the client solutions team to deliver creative solutions and support market growth while meeting the needs of our clients. Working together with the wider pricing team, you will deliver high-quality pricing analysis on quote opportunities for clients and will present the opportunity through the internal governance process, gaining significant visibility with the S&R Leadership Team, COO, and CEO.
You will have the opportunity to learn and develop as an actuary and grow your analytic skills while keeping involved in the latest pricing, market, statistical, and technology developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the delivery of new business quotations for the S&R line of business.
* Analysing experience data to determine trends in order to support the derivation of technical pricing basis.
* Communicating results/findings to stakeholders across the business.
* Help enhance the pricing team capability by supporting the improvement of processes and approaches.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will:
* Have a degree (2:1 or above, or equivalent) in a relevant subject area, e.g., mathematics, statistics, or actuarial studies.
* Have technical experience in a role at a (re)insurer, consultancy, or another statistical role.
* Have the ability to analyse and interpret data, draw conclusions from it, and clearly communicate findings to key stakeholders across the business.
* Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
* Have knowledge of R, Excel, and actuarial software experience.
