Senior People Business Partner (12 month FTC)

We are on the lookout for a Senior People Business Partner to join our People and Culture team on a 12 month maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and execute People strategies, promote inclusive people practices, drive impactful change, while collaborating closely with senior business leaders. We value in-person collaboration, therefore this role will follow our hybrid work structure where Matillioners work 2 days a week from our Manchester office.
What you'll be doing
* Act as a trusted partner and coach to employees and senior leaders, providing strategic HR guidance aligned with business goals
* Lead efforts to retain top talent and foster a high-performing, engaged workforce
* Partner with Centre of Excellences (COE's) in the wider People team to develop and execute programs across the full employee lifecycle - including performance cycles, merit reviews, hiring, and learning and development.
* Lead on organisational design and change initiatives to align with the global people strategy and drive culture and people-focused transformation
* Use a variety of People data to inform decision-making and drive meaningful people initiatives.
What we are looking for
* You have previous experience in a Senior People Business Partner or similar strategic HR role
* Proven expertise in organisational design, talent management, and employee relations, with a strong understanding of compliance and HR best practices
* Previous experience in a global, high growth environment
* Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance, especially in the UK, US and India
* A proactive, agile mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving business needs
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
At Matillion, we are committed to providing compensation in line with market standards based on the role, job family, job level and country. This role’s estimated annual salaried pay range for this position is £60,400 - £90,600. The final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
