What skills and experience we're looking for
Hours:12 hours per week
Contract:Term Time Only plus 1 TE day, Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity at The Chase for a suitably individual to contribute under the supervision of teaching staff, in assisting with practical support to our teaching and learning in the Food & Textiles curriculum of our Design & Technology department. This successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team.
You will be responsible for supporting our teaching staff and pupils with practical tasks, preparing/checking the equipment and resources for lessons, checking stock levels and purchasing small items as directed by the department. You will also be required to maintain health and safety standards and to undertake some administrative tasks.
You must be NVQ Level 2 or equivalent or experience in this discipline and knowledge of Health and Safety issues, particularly COSHH. Food hygiene for catering and DATA trained or equivalent is desirable.
