Are you an experienced data driven Administrator with experience of Logistics or Warehousing?
Bensons for beds is looking for a new Control Room Administrator to be based out of our manufacturing site in Huntingdon.
Directly reporting into the Transport Standardisation and Compliance Manager, this role is central to the Warehouse and Distribution network, providing site operations managers with guidance, tools and data to manage their workforce effectively.

What will you do?
* Ensure a safe and legally compliant logistics operation through the regular monitoring of adherence to business training and induction plans.
* Working with the planning department and site operations leaders on the execution of the network trunking plan seeking daily positive confirmation of completion.
* Provision of trunking plan execution data and reporting, identifying opportunities for improvement in execution.
* Escalation point for any trunking issues.
* Monitoring trailer use across the network, putting in place actions to prevent network imbalances and optimising trailer use across the network.
* Provide support mechanisms to site management teams for the effective execution of company policy
* Schedule and log key site activities as defined by business and operational objectives
* Administrate and monitor key transport systems, ensuring compliance with agreed standards and conventions.
* Monitor company systems against set compliance standards, providing data and reports as required,
* Support with ensuring consistent reporting and communication across the business, by adjusting communication to an appropriate style for the intended audience.
* Customer focussed, ensuring that all activities are driven to improve service, compliance, culture and standards.
