AHP Support Worker development opportunity! Do you enjoy working in the community? Do you have an interest in respiratory and supporting community/home-based pulmonary rehabilitation? The Community Physiotherapy Respiratory Service are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking and dynamic AHP Support Worker to join their team.
You will be allocated a delegated caseload and be expected to work independently, assessing the patient’s care needs, within an agreed assessment and treatment protocol and/or modifying existing treatment plans as appropriate. This includes progressing patient treatment plans, reassessing and discharging within the agreed scope of practice, being guided by evidence-based protocols where available.
The role will involve participation in service development activities and continued professional development will be supported within the team. You will also be responsible for and undertake various administrative and housekeeping duties as required.
Previous experience within a community setting is essential. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Teamwork is also an essential component of this post. Previous experience in Pulmonary Rehabilitation classes and IT skills are desirable.
