Purposeof the role:
This role is responsible for assisting the Buyers inall aspects of the Critical Path, Sample and Administration Management for thedepartment to ensure on time delivery of product to specification, from protohandover to product launch.
Responsibilities:
CriticalPath/Range Plan Management:
1. Management of the critical path anddepartment processes to ensure all information is up to date and readilyaccessible by other teams
2. Ensuring all style details areinputted to the range plan on time and accurately
3. Ensuring phasing and deliveries arecorrect on the Critical Path with weekly meetings with Merchandising.
4. Amending orders where required
5. Entering all data to Futura to alloworder raising
6. Answering ad hoc queries as required
SampleManagement:
7. Managing and coordinating sample requirementfor buying department to include Press, Wholesale and Photo samples.
8. Chasing in all samples to meetdeadlines
9. Preparation of product reviews,ensuring that all samples are set up when required.
10. Managing product storage for thedepartment.
CatalogueInformation:
11. Compile the styling and trims detailsfor the catalogue, proof read the catalogue with the buyer before going topress.
12. Collating the catalogue informationbetween Garment Tech, Merchandising, Marketing and Buying and ensuring that thedocument is completed for the deadline.
OtherBuying responsibilities:
13. Assisting in fit sessions, providingadministrative support
14. Competitive shopping trips to developand understand current market place, Crew’s position in the market place.Compare Retail prices
15. Taking comprehensive notes inmeetings when required
16. Updating and filing all product datarequirement.
17. Maintaining style information andcost prices on the Range plan and Futura
18. Managing sample invoice process
19. Undertake development or project workset by buyer
20. Assisting in general teamadministration: managing phone calls, post, courier and parcelcollections and other ad hoc admin duties.
People/Communication:
21. Working with the Design,Merchandising and Garment Technology teams to answer queries and to ensure asmooth transition of the product life cycle of the garment from proto to bulk.
22. Attending weekly updates and scheduledmeetings
23. Maintaining excellent communicationacross the company
24. Assessing and escalating any queriesor issues with product life cycle, which may incur delays or cost implications.

28. Experience in Excel and Word
29. Ability to prioritise andmanage a work schedule whilst working to tight deadlines
30. Ability to initiate and buildstrong relationships with Supplier and other department members

33. Previous BuyingAdministration experience
34. Able to work with pace andenergy.
