Job description: We are expanding our Network Engineering teams and are looking to hire different-level Network Engineers who could work from our Bracknell, UK, Head Office. After successfully completing the probation period, you can become eligible for a form of hybrid working remotely at the Manager’s discretion. The ideal candidate will be experienced in network troubleshooting, within a close commute to the office and has the ability to concentrate their attention and effort on a specific task or goal. Requirements:
* Medium to advanced networking troubleshooting skills
* Knowledge and practical experience with VLAN tagging, DHCP, DNS, TCP, UDP and IP Services (DIA, VPN, CPE, DSL)
* Knowledge of network multi-vendors and CLI troubleshooting experience
* Understanding remote access and remote-control computer software. More specifically, experienced with Remote Desktop Software tools such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk or equivalent to carry out network troubleshooting
* CCNA certification or equivalent is preferable.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication skills
Main tasks:
* Maintain and monitor our clients’ networks, ensure that the network is operating efficiently, troubleshoot network issues as required, schedule upgrades, and collaborate with network architects on network optimisation.
* Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments using information from multiple sources.
* Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users/customers
* Provide remote troubleshooting and fault finding on customer LAN/WAN
* Undertake capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices
* Liaise with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers regularly
* Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new solutions.
