Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen in our 20 bedded Intensive Care Unit for a caring, highly motivated and enthusiastic band 6 Senior Staff Nurse. You must have a recognised ICU course and have a passion for delivering person centered care with kindness, confidence and expertise. Confidential and effective varied communication is paramount. Main duties of the job The post holder will work as a highly skilled practitioner and will be responsible for the delivery of patient -focused programmes of care, which address the complex and changing health and wellbeing needs of critical care patients. The post holder will be in charge of a Pod on a regular basis liaising with other members of the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will be expected to assist in the effective induction, mentorship and support of new staff and students.
