An Assistant Accountant who will play a vital role in the daily reconciliation of gaming reports and validation of invoices, ensuring all deadlines are met in an accurate and timely manner. You will be an integral part of the Regulatory Returns and Gaming team, responsible for the continual delivery of regulatory and gaming returns in current and new markets. A significant part of the role will involve assisting in the expansion of gaming providers in all regulated markets. You will ensure the efficiency of gaming commission process whilst also assisting with reconciliation of gaming invoices and European regulatory reports. Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience Working towards an AAT qualification is preferable but not essential. Excellent communication across all levels of job roles. Ability to show initiative and grasp new concepts quickly. Self-motivation and looking to make continuous improvements to processes. Experience working with high volumes of data. Proficiency in Excel functions. Proactive and organised, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Basic understanding of the gambling industry and an interest in a wide range of sports is desirable. Main Responsibilities Carrying out daily financial reconciliations for multiple gaming providers. Communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Preparing and paying of Duty and Taxes. Reconcile monthly gaming commission invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance. Ensure that all gaming commission processes are completed within the designated deadlines. Assisting in the completion of any required audits. Helping with the testing and developing of regulatory reports. Ensuring all tasks have a procedure document, which is kept updated. Completing any adhoc requests from key stakeholders.
