We have an exciting permanent opportunity, for a HR professional looking to take the next step in their career and join our recently reorganised Policy, Projects and Industrial Relations Team.
Reporting to the Team Manager you will work closely with Organisation Development & Human Resources colleagues and Managers across the Council to develop legally compliant frameworks and benefits, through the provision of research, collation and analysis of HR metrics to inform decision making; to develop and implement policies, procedures and processes to support the effective recruitment, retention and management of people, working closely with senior managers and Trade Union colleagues.
We are looking for someone who holds a relevant HR/OD qualification (CIPD Level 5) and/or demonstrable experience in either HR or OD at this level and has the right skills and values to join our team and make a difference.
