POSITION OVERVIEW Responsibilities Include: Working with Prestige Vehicles, Supercars, Electric & Hybrid Vehicles You must have previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within a busy bodyshop The successful candidate will be assessing damaged vehicles and providing estimates in line with correct researched methods of repair using Audatex & the EMACS Bodyshop System, In order to carry out accurate estimates in line with work provider guidelines, ensuring that a consistent and effective service is delivered to our internal and external customers and work providers with confidence. Candidate will be responsible for liaising with customers and insurance companies face to face to explain repairs to be carried out using knowledge gained from method research. Candidates will also be responsible for ensuring all estimates compiled are done so by using manufacture methodology. To ensure vehicle is repaired back to manufacturer standards To ensure any supplementary work is submitted and authorised by authorising party. Once authority is received, you are to liaise with the workshop departments to produce job card and method pack to commence repairs. Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved at all times Individual Specialist Cars is a Manufacturer Approved Accident Repair Centre & Bodyshop and you will be working in our state of the art premises with ongoing training provided to manufacturer standards. Knowledge and ability to work with Computer based systems such as EMACS & AUDATEX Must be able to demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of the vehicle repair industry with a desire to continually learn ew techniques and processes, ongoing training is provided as required by the Company Knowledge and understanding of electric vehicles and ultra-high strength steels and repair methods Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicle are ready to agreed timescales CANDIDATE PROFILE Experience and Skills: You will be required to liaise with customers and insurance engineers communicating in a polite and professional manner at all levels, with a smart appearance and a keen eye for detail Be a strong team player with self-motivation, also be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision Attention to detail and excellent communication and IT skills The pride and attention to detail to complete each job to the very best of your ability and manufacture standards, continue to work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind at all times Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicle estimates are ready to agreed timescales We work as a Team, therefore the successful candidate must have the ability to work as part of a Team and have a flexible approach to the job role and the needs of the business, an honest and diligent approach to work is required with the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality of work. Qualifications: The candidate must have at least 3 years working within the Automotive Repair Industry in a Vehicle Damage Assessor role (this is essential) Up to date Audatex Certification A.T.A. Certified Must have a full UK Driving Licence Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:00 am - 06.00 pm Saturday: 08:00 am - 12:00 pm (on a rotational basis) Salary: Competitive; to be discussed during the interview. Location: Birmingham or Solihull (dependant on requirement) Position Type: Full-Time Training: Comprehensive training will be provided as needed for the role (subject to terms and conditions).
