We are looking for a Clerical Officer to receive and process licence applications. The Clerical Officer is responsible for providing business information and support to both internal and external customers in compliance with statutory requirements. This will include liaising with Elected Members, Community Councils, applicants and other relevant stakeholders.
The Clerical Officer will also be responsible for collating reports, preparation of citations for meetings of the Licensing Board and Regulatory Committee. The postholder will deal with all types of licence applications and permissions and will include receiving payments from applicants and licence holders.
The postholder is required to deliver excellent customer service and advice in a professional and polite manner.

Working Pattern
Monday - Thursday: 8:45am - 4:45pm (including a 55-minute unpaid break)
Friday: 8:45am - 4:15pm (including a 50-minute unpaid break)
