We are currently recruiting to our Junior Fellow posts here at the QMC Major Trauma Centre. We have positions available from the 6th of August 2025 for 12 months. Applicants need to be motivated and with a keen interest in the management of Major Trauma patients. Good communication skills are essential as is the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary professional team across a number of different specialties. As a centre of excellence in the treatment of Major Trauma, the Queen's Medical Centre is a single site multi-specialty hospital, optimised for the provision of trauma care. It is the primary receiving hospital of the East Midlands Trauma Network and manages all types of injuries, providing a 24 hour consultant led service. The Major Trauma Consultant and multi-professional team co-ordinate the pathway of care for people with severe trauma injuries. Rehabilitation is commenced as early in the pathway as possible to maximise functional outcomes for the patient. Research and Academic Requirements Participation in audit and research is expected. As part of the clinical fellowship you will be required to attend morbidity / mortality meetings. Teaching You will be expected to take an active part in the departmental rolling teaching programme, both of the Junior Fellow post holders and medical students.
