The Role:
The Senior Business Analyst will run the business analysis activities on large scale, complex, digital transformation and business change projects and programmes. The Senior Business Analyst will undertake strategic analysis activities to ensure the digital and business solutions meet requirements and satisfy quality expectations of IS and business, they will also take a significant role in managing the changes being introduced.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, validating and documenting requirements by facilitating workshops with technical and business subject matter experts. The Senior Business Analyst is required to map complex business processes and informational flows, creating process maps and schematic diagrams when required to support and align on the understanding of change impacts, and efficiency opportunities.
The Senior Business Analyst has a prominent role in implementing best practice within the business analysis team, quality controlling business analysis output and ensuring a continuous improvement approach of total quality management is followed.
We may consider a fractional appointment. Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role. We aim to complete the shortlisting within 2 weeks of the advertising closing date and the interview date will be within two weeks of the shortlisting completion.
