An opportunity has arisen for a Band Health Care Assistant on a fixed contract to join the nursing team on the Children’s Unit.
The Children's Unit consists of inpatient beds including High Dependency bed, Enhanced Care beds.
We also have Assessment unit beds, medical/surgical day case beds and Oncology beds.

Main duties of the job
To undertake assigned tasks involving direct and indirect care to the child, young person and their family in support of and supervised by a registered nurse.
To supervise and care for children and young people admitted to the children’s ward under the joint care of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services team
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
