Year 5 Teacher
The successful and independent teacher will be responsible for a class which includes a pupil with specific medical needs. You will be supported by a Teaching Assistant.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Develop compelling lessons that adhere to the KS2 National Curriculum guidelines and complement the school's creative curriculum.
2. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of age-appropriate expectations for KS2 students, providing appropriate scaffolding and challenges to optimize individual educational outcomes.
3. Maintain accurate records of data, conducting analyses to identify areas for reteaching and address learning gaps, ensuring consistently high levels of attainment.
4. Cultivate positive relationships with all students, fostering an environment of trust and mutual respect.
5. Collaborate seamlessly with Teaching Assistants, key stage colleagues, and wider staff, actively sharing advice, resources, and best practices to enhance overall teamwork and effectiveness.
