The FA are excited to be searching for a Grassroots Project Coordinator on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
What will you be doing?
* To coordinate and manage the monitoring, delivery and delivery payment processing of 2024/25 project submissions.
* Provide administrative support with communications, document interrogation and storage, and scheduling of key meetings and events.
* To support with application eligibility process, provide funding recommendations to FA project leads, producing and distributing funding decisions.
* To provide high-quality administration support as required to aid the delivery of FA programmes and activities.
* To action ad-hoc project tasks from internal stakeholders.
* To monitor and action allocated items within departmental inboxes and company software programme requests in addition to your workload.
* To raise orders and process divisional invoices using the company Purchase Order system.
* To prepare reports, and presentations and maintain databases as requested.
* To support the coordination of, and attend, team meetings, noting and owning closing of actions where required.
* Establish good rapport with all stakeholders, departmental colleagues, County FAs and relevant key external partners.
* Executes additional tasks as required to meet FA Group's changing priorities.
* Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and well-being can be maintained.
* As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.
What are we looking for?
Essential for the role:
* Office and administration experience.
* Ability to organise, coordinate and attend events.
* Project and programmes support: experience of taking ownership of small projects through to completion.
Beneficial to have:
* Minute-taking experience.
* Ability to review, evaluate and streamline existing services and procedures.
* Experience in supporting Committees.
