EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have an exciting opportunity to work within our Leakage Assurance team as a Data Analyst.
We are seeking a dedicated Data Analyst to lead the development of consumption models for reporting on Leakage, Per Capita Consumption (PCC), and Business Demand. With the rollout of smart meters, you will play a crucial role in utilizing this data to understand water usage and leakage. Your key responsibilities will include collecting and analysing data for household and non-household water usage, developing and refining statistical models, and integrating smart meter data to differentiate between supply pipe leakage and internal plumbing losses.
You will collaborate with the Data Science team to manage data pipelines and bring data processing in-house, as well as identify and implement improvement opportunities, including project management and stakeholder engagement.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills as well as experience with statistical modelling, familiarity with smart meter data and water consumption metrics. Excellent statistical skills with a background in Data Engineering will be advantageous for this role with the ability to analyse and interpret data. It will be beneficial if you have previous experience in project management with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
