Accounts Administrator

* Salary: £12 - £13.50 per hour
We are seeking a temporary Accounts Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with prior accounts experience, capable of managing a high volume of invoices and possessing strong IT skills. The position involves a variety of administrative tasks including data entry, telephone handling, filing, photocopying, and processing invoices. We are looking for someone who is hardworking and happy to assist where required.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
* Handle incoming calls and manage correspondence.
* Manage filing and photocopying tasks efficiently.
* Process invoices into Sage and perform reconciliations.
* Issue and manage purchase orders.
* Work through an average of 300 invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely handling.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in an accounts role, with the ability to handle a large volume of invoices.
* Previous construction experience is preferred but not essential.
* Strong IT and tech skills; familiarity with Sage and Excel.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
