My client who are a growing and thriving business who are on an excellent growth trajectory for the next 5 years are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their friendly and welcoming team and support their purchasing function.
Your duties will include:
Manage purchase order processes
Manage the completion of associated documentation for new suppliers and contractors and setting up on Sage in line with the process
Manage contractor validations to ensure compliance, conduct CIS checks, currency of insurances and any qualifications required for scope of works
Arranging return of goods to suppliers and credits for items returned in conjunction with Sales and Warehouse as necessary and ensure Return Process is managed through to credit posting
Resolve invoice queries
Support the Purchasing Manager with data and trend analysis
You must have:
Sage system experience (ideally)
Buyer experience preferred
Good communicator
Good problem solving skills
Experienced user of Microsoft office (especially Excel)
Good negotiator
Able to build effective relationships with suppliers
