Our solutions include Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Supply Chain Planning, Order Management, Transportation Management, and Warehouse Management, with a particular focus on sustainability and leveraging the Oracle ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, a deep understanding of SCM processes, and a consistent record of selling these solutions to the market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share for our SAAS SCM solutions, emphasizing sustainability and the advantages of the Oracle ecosystem.
3. Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and growing our customer base. This includes conducting market research, engaging with potential clients, and communicating our SAAS SCM solutions in a compelling manner. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that generate leads and increase brand awareness.
4. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with key clients and customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored, sustainable solutions to improve their supply chain operations using Oracle's suite of tools.
5. Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales team performance, analyze sales metrics, and prepare reports to present to senior management. Implement corrective actions as needed to ensure targets are met.
6. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly, with a focus on sustainable practices and Oracle solutions.
7. Collaboration: Work with our wider Applications Sales leadership team to align territory and account plans and coordinate joint efforts to build and close SCM deals. Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer satisfaction.
8. Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of Oracle’s SCM solutions, Oracle cloud products, sustainability practices, and the ESG regulatory environment, continuously updating knowledge to optimally communicate benefits to potential clients.
Additional Requirements:
9. Successful sales leadership track record
10. Oracle Applications knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle’s competitors in the SCM/Logistics space
11. Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
12. Strong experience in new business acquisition
13. Travel will be required.
14. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
15. 5+ years of proven sales experience in SCM or Logistics
16. Fluency in English is mandatory.
Qualifications:
17. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
18. Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the SAAS industry with a focus on SCM solutions and sustainability.
19. Solid understanding of Oracle cloud solutions and the Oracle ecosystem.
20. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and encourage a sales team.
21. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
22. Analytical approach with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
23. Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
