Proactive Personnel have an exciting Internal Sales Position that has come available in the Cramlington area.
As an Internal Sales Person, you are the key connection to provide effective management of existing customer accounts and developing new business to meet Branch targets by providing an excellent sales service.
The Role
As an Internal Sales Person, your main responsibilities will be to:
1. Deliver excellent customer service.
2. Build and maintain successful partnerships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers, focusing on the achievement of long-term customer loyalty.
3. Consistently generate profitable sales for the branch via telephone by effectively using a range of techniques and resources.
4. Identify and action appropriate steps to rectify any shortfalls.
5. Manage customer queries in relation to invoices, orders, or stock.
6. Understand the customer cycle by proactively targeting new customers and developing them into consistent live trading accounts.
7. Embrace digital channels to enhance the customer offering by proactively promoting the webshop and other digital offerings.
8. Collaborate with customers, colleagues, and suppliers by supporting promotions, sales events, supplier days, and new product launches.
9. Utilise IT systems such as M3, Vecta, and Microsoft Office to support the customer experience.
10. Support in other areas of the branch as required.
Requirements
To be a successful Internal Sales Person, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Experience of working in a highly competitive customer-focused role (B2B, B2C, retail/hospitality).
2. Experience of working within a sales/target-driven role.
3. Customer-centric with a customer service background.
4. Demonstrated proactive sales via phone, face-to-face, and online.
5. Experience of working in a fast-paced role while maintaining a consistent eye for detail.
6. A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure.
7. An ability to recognise sales opportunities.
8. An ability to embrace change and new technologies.
The Internal Sales role is a FULL-TIME permanent position working Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:30 and every other Saturday working 08:30 - 12:00.
