An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join the Finance Team at The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust, for a fixed term of 12 months.
The post holder will provide support to the Senior Finance Analyst in the form of comprehensive Management Accountancy and Financial reporting Service to Budget Holders of the Trust.
Part-time and flexible working requests will be considered.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will assist in the provision of a comprehensive Financial Management and Accounting Service for all aspects of the specified areas for which the post holder is made responsible.
To be a primary link between the Finance Department and those specified areas. More details are included in the attached job description.

Qualifications/Attainments:
Essential criteria:
* AAT qualified or Qualified by experience
Desirable criteria:
* Working towards a CCAB qualification
Skills and Knowledge:
Essential criteria:
* Computer skills especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
* Organisational skills to prioritise and meet deadlines. Able to instruct others
Desirable criteria:
* Knowledge of NHS financial regime.
Experience:
Essential criteria:
* Minimum of 2 years in a financial management role
Desirable criteria:
* People management and supervision
* Multi-disciplinary teamwork
Other specific requirements:

* Commitment to learning, best practice and a quality service.
* Flexible and resilient.
* Requirement to travel to other locations
