We are recruiting for a Leasehold Support Officer to work within the East London, Tower Hamlets area to start in immediately. We are looking for someone to provide a comprehensive support service within the Leasehold Services team covering the full range of administration support activity and providing an efficient and effective leasehold transactional service. Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday Rate: £18.76ph The successful candidate will work with colleagues in the team to deliver excellent customer service and to continually improve service delivery. Duties: Full JD will be provided: Key Tasks and Accountabilities: To distribute incoming correspondence, in accordance with procedures Respond to telephone enquiries securing the best service and outcomes for customers. To handle a range of internal and external enquiries in a polite and professional manner and referring to the appropriate officer as required. To provide support to senior staff on a planned or ad-hoc basis. To arrange service meetings, book and prepare rooms, prepare and circulate agendas and papers, provide and circulate minutes and monitor follow up actions as necessary. To attend out of office meetings when necessary, as dictated by the needs of the service area, including evening meetings when required. To set up and maintain file management systems including storing and retrieving documents and archiving. Maintain a library of reference documents for use by Leasehold Services Experience/Skills required: Administration experience Experience of working to deadlines Experience of working in a customer facing role Experience of using IT and filing systems in an organisation Knowledge of MS Office applications Knowledge of widely Microsoft Work and Excel – intermediate Knowledge of social housing sector Good oral and written communication skills Shows initiative The ability to work effectively as part of a team Good level of typing speed Ability to prioritise and manage own workload Attention to details The closing date for this position is 07/02/2025, with the expectation of a candidate starting immediately.
