Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nursing Auxiliaries and Assistants to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support registered nurses and healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of patients. Key Responsibilities:
Assist nurses in providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
Support patients with mobility, helping them move safely and comfortably.
Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the care environment.
Help patients with daily activities to promote their independence and dignity.
Provide emotional and social support to patients and their families.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in a patient’s condition to the nursing staff.
Ensure patients' safety and adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in a healthcare or care home setting (Essential).
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (Essential).
The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism (Mandatory)
A compassionate and caring nature with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
A good understanding of safeguarding and infection control procedures.
Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
