We are on the lookout for an outstanding primary or secondary teacher who has a real passion for teaching Maths. At High Point we have two curriculum pathways “Connectors” and “Developers”. Students on our Developer pathway typically are working at least 3 years below age related expectations and their formal curriculum is focussed around developing independence life and functional skills. Our Students on our Connector pathway are working at 2 years below age related up to age related expectations. Our pupils across both phases have access to maths lessons across their timetable. You would be responsible for teaching up to age-appropriate maths up to Foundation GCSE level, so a strong subject knowledge is essential. You will respond to the individual needs of our students and help them to build strategies to minimise the barriers to their learning; enabling them to prepare for adult life both educationally and emotionally. You will be part of a strong caring staff community, who work together to achieve the best we can for the young people we work with.
