Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Coordinator to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with the coordination of works, ensuring construction activities are executed to meet the goals and objectives of our projects. This role involves inspecting and verifying work, identifying and addressing non-conformance, and ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the coordination of construction activities with support from the construction team.
* Conduct in-process checks and verify as-built works in line with specified levels of inspection.
* Use prescribed management processes to ensure quality and compliance.
* Challenge unsatisfactory work and escalate issues as necessary.
* Ensure Inspection Test Plan criteria align with the verification schedule.
* Understand and implement verification processes to achieve high standards.
* Ability to conduct in-process checks and verify work according to specified inspection levels.
* Proficiency in challenging unsatisfactory work and resolving field issues.
* Knowledge of verification importance and processes.
Background:
Candidates should possess one or more of the following:
* Recognized engineering apprenticeship at NVQ level 3.
* Membership in the Institute of Engineering or the Institute of Clerks of Works.
* Relevant qualification in engineering, manufacturing process, or plant operations.
Qualifications:
* Minimum HNC or equivalent Level 4 in a relevant engineering subject discipline.
* SMSTS or accepted equivalent.
* CSCS Card holder.
Experience:
* Site experience obtained through a recognized apprenticeship.
* Experience in delivery within an engineering or technical role.
