The Role
Because of Alice (Aybl Group) are looking for an exceptionally talented intern to support our Garment Technologist. This placement offers a huge range of opportunities depending on your skill set, ambitions and willingness to learn. The role will give you a broad scope of experience across all major product development milestones. Ensuring full exposure to the technical process and what goes into launching a successful collection.
Responsibilities and Duties
● Assisting with checking in, measuring samples and steaming samples ahead of fit sessions
● Supporting during fit sessions, taking clear feedback notes and images
● Supporting in reviewing PP and gold seal samples to ensure they confirm and adhere to all agreed standards of fit, quality and labelling
● General day-to-day organisation and admin of the garment technology including management of fit samples, QC reports, fabric testing, lab dips
● And any other duties required by your manager
Personal Specification
● Currently enrolled onto an undergraduate degree in a fashion/garment technologist related field
● A keen interest in women's fashion with an eye for premium, luxury design and aesthetics
● Knowledge of pattern cutting, grading and garment construction
● Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
● Motivated, hard working and highly organised individual
● Capable of working independently and as part of a small team
● Ability to drive and having own car would be advantageous but not essential

Schedule
Three days a week on site 9am-5pm. (Please only apply if you can reliably commute to B98 on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday.)
Duration
Three months (Depending on the requirements of the business and commitment to the role there may be the opportunity to extend your internship.)
