About the role of a Commercial Gas Engineer
We are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer. Your role is to install, maintain, and repair pipes and fixtures (i.e. radiators, cylinders) associated with district heating systems in residential properties. You will carry out testing and inspection on heating systems, identifying any faults and carrying out repairs to the highest possible standard. There are 2-3 positions available for different areas such as Wandsworth, Richmond, and Spelthorne.
Responsibilities for the Commercial Gas Engineer
1. PPM/Reactive on systems
2. Working on HIUs, hot water, and full MVHRs, etc.
3. Replace/install cylinders, thermal stores, HIUs, and ancillary equipment
4. Replace/repair pipework, tap stats, isolation valves, and mechanical plant where required
5. Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts
6. Isolate and cap radiators/valves when found to be leaking
7. Replace/install radiators and ancillary pipework where required
8. Replace/install 2 and 3 port control valves and immersions, wiring the controls accordingly
9. Upgrade/repair heating and hot water service
Requirements for Commercial Gas Engineer
Must have suitable NVQ 3 plumbing or corresponding City and Guilds qualification.
Must have experience in plant rooms & commercial systems.
Must have a safe working experience on electrics.

Call out paid at time & half Mon, (5pm to 8am) to Sat 12 noon, and double time from (12 noon Sat to Monday 8am).
