Interviews are expected to be held 27 February 2025
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Do you have effective communication skills with a positive approach and the ability to multi-task? Can you manage senior staff members' diaries, arrange meetings and deal with enquiries? Do you have organisational skills to ensure the efficient working of an office?
We are looking for a highly self-motivated and flexible individual with enthusiasm and a positive can-do attitude to work within the Policy and Regulation team.
Working as part of a small team, but with a cross-university focus, you will provide administrative support to the Head of Policy and Regulation and, working closely with the Secretariat business support team, support senior staff members and the effective running of both directorates. A key part of this role will be diary management – prioritising and arranging meetings and ensuring the Head of Policy and Regulation is fully prepared for these. Your responsibilities will also include supporting large meetings and events, raising purchase orders, including booking travel and accommodation, and supporting recruitment and other HR aligned processes. Your strong customer service and interpersonal skills will support the provision of a robust, responsive and efficient administrative support service. The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and turn tasks around quickly with high attention to detail is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a varied and interesting role.
