Job description:
1. Develop and maintain the local Quality Management System, ensuring full alignment with BIMS requirements;
2. Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with IARF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards;
3. Ensure core tools (e.g. FMEA, Quality Control Plan, PPAP) are applied for different product families according to existing F-M standards and specific Customer requirements;
4. Guarantee the correct application of work instructions and quality control plans;
5. Ensure that proper tests and controls aimed at verifying product conformity are carried out (from incoming inspection on raw materials/components to final test on finished goods);
6. Perform regular Risk and Opportunities analysis on their site, based on applicable standards;
7. Be the leader for problem solving activities in case of Customer Claims by coordinating the internal Team (CCEM Committee);
8. Leads Quality Improvement Teams aimed at reducing internal non-conformities and relevant costs of poor quality;
9. Pursue the continuous improvement of products/processes in line with Customers expectations;
10. Provide all necessary training on Quality methodologies and tools;
11. Ensure full compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements;
12. Be the Product safety representative for the plant;
13. Ensure changes are correctly managed and implemented in their site (including regular tracking and communication);
Required profile:
1. BS or MS Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent;
2. 5 years-experience in a Quality Management role;
3. Certified IATF16949 internal auditor;
4. Extensive experience of people management and resources;
5. Automotive experience;
6. Experience of leading complex/multi-task orientated projects;
7. Experience of volume manufacturing environments;
8. Knowledge of specific automotive core tools: Statistical Process Control (SPC), FMEA (both Design and Process), PPAP, APQP, MSA;
9. Knowledge of statistical IT tools (e.g. Minitab);
