Unlock your passions @ Crossroads Veterinary Centre
We are a wonderful practice located in High Wycombe with easy access to London and also the countryside of the Chilterns.
We have focused on making Crossroads a supportive place to work and focus on work life balance. We are a very close team of 10 Vets and 14 Nurses who all support each other and are available for help/discussion. We have a very forward-thinking Nursing team who are very involved in our clinical decisions and help to improve standards. We work with a local dog rehoming centre closely. We have a fantastic practice with great facilities and equipment such as ultrasound, endoscopy and staged dentals.
Your normal hours of work are 40 hours per week, 4 days a week. Due to the particular needs of the business we need to operate a rota system, therefore there are no normal times of work applicable to you and your daily hours, start and finish times will vary from time to time on a rota system. The rota operates Monday to Friday inclusive. In addition, you will also be required to participate in a weekend rota.
We provide lots of time for the graduates to first shadow from reception to the Nursing team, and onto the Vets. We are in regular communication to decide when to make the next step and how things are going with regards to appointment length, type of appointment etc. The whole team are very approachable and available to support and help. Our aspirations are for a self-motivated graduate willing to learn and work as a member of our team.
