Job responsibilities
5. Hours: up to 20hours per week

10. Conducting phlebotomy procedures with precision andcompassion
11. Performing various clinical and administrative duties tosupport the medical team
12. Ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughouttheir healthcare journey
13. Assisting physicians duringclinical procedures and examinations
14. Liaise and support the nursemanager
15. Ensure all items ofequipment are maintained in good order, and ensure that all procedures forreporting hazards or unsafe equipment are known and understood
16. Collaborating with thehealthcare team to deliver comprehensive care to patients
17. Maintaining accurate andup-to-date patient records in accordance with practice protocols

19. ECG recordings (HCA Role)
20. Assisting with minor surgeryand col fittings (HCA Role)
21. Testing urine samples (HCARole)
22. Support the Nurse Manager, maintainstock of waiting room leaflets, ordering.
23. Attend practice meetingswhen required.
24. An opportunity to work outof hours, extended access etc.
25. Participate in developing,implementing and monitoring policies, procedures and protocols.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
27. Certified Phlebotomist or relevant healthcare qualification
28. Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Phlebotomist preferred
29. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
30. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
31. Compassionate and patient-focused approach to healthcare
32. Strong IT skills
Desirable
33. Knowledge of clinical systems such as: EMIS Web, Docman, AccuRx and ICE.
