Job Title: Creative SEO Specialist
Location: Nottingham, Hybrid
My client is an automotive technology company and due to success they're looking to grow out their marketing team by adding a Creative SEO Specialist.
They are in search of a talented individual to enhance site content and improve search performance through SEO best practices. Your role will focus on creating engaging, optimised content to drive traffic, increase conversions, and adhere to Google’s content guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
* Produce blogs, guides, FAQs, and product descriptions following SEO principles.
* Optimise page titles, meta descriptions, and H1 tags.
* Craft Google Ads copy and OpenGraph snippets as needed.
Content Implementation:
* Upload content using Shopify CMS, ensuring it is visually appealing and optimised.
* Embed CTAs and work with UX teams for conversion-friendly layouts.
Keyword Research:
* Use tools like Google Keyword Planner and SEMRush to refine content strategies.
* Embed keywords into new and existing content.
Enhance Rich Media:
* Incorporate images, videos, and graphics where appropriate.
* Basic skills in image and video editing (e.g., Photoshop or GIMP) are an advantage.
SEO and PPC Support:
* Collaborate with SEO and PPC teams on optimisation strategies.
* Learn the basics of Google Ads to integrate produced ad text.
Key Skills/Experience:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
* Intermediate understanding of digital marketing software such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, Search Metrics, SEMRush, MOZ & Search Console
* Experience of on-site & off-site optimization efforts
* Experience in leading project teams, working independently and with external teams.
* Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and maintaining delivery momentum
* Proficiency in organising, planning, and decision making

They can offer a hybrid working environment, as well as a starting salary of £35,000 - £45,000, depending on background & experience.
